Viking Experience Iceland does not store or have access to customers’ credit card or payment details. Payment information is handled securely by the providers according to their privacy and security policies.

Import Fees & Taxes

Customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees imposed by their country. These charges are not included in the product price or shipping cost, and Viking Experience Iceland is not responsible for paying them.

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility, unless the item received was defective or incorrect.

 

Refunds will be issued once the returned item has been received and inspected.

By renting items or participating in events with Viking Experience Iceland, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

 

 

1. Business Information

 

Viking Experience Iceland is a locally operated business offering Viking-themed events and rental experiences across Iceland.

2. Booking and Payment

 

2.1 All rentals and event participation must be booked in advance via:

    •    Email: icelandvikingexperience@gmail.com

    •    Website: vikingsiceland.com

 

2.2 Payment is required at the time of booking and must be made online via:

    •    Credit card / Debit card

    •    PayPal

    •    Other secure payment processors

 

2.3 Prices are displayed in ISK or EUR and include VAT unless otherwise stated.

 

2.4 A damage deposit may be required for rentals (see Section 3).


 

2.5 No-Show Policy

 

  • If a customer fails to attend a booked event or pick up rental items without prior notice (“no-show”), the booking is considered forfeited.

  • Payment made for no-shows is non-refundable.

  • Customers who anticipate being late or unable to attend must notify Viking Experience Iceland at least 24 hours in advance to reschedule or avoid forfeiture.

  • Repeated no-shows may result in Viking Experience Iceland refusing future bookings.

 

 

2.6 Cancellation Policy

 

  • Customers may cancel a booking up to 48 hours before the scheduled event or rental pick-up.

  • Cancellations must be made via email: icelandvikingexperience@gmail.com

  • Cancellations made within this period will receive a full refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 48 hours before the booking are non-refundable.

 

 

 

 

3. Damage Deposit (Rentals)

 

3.1 The deposit amount is specified at the time of booking and varies depending on the item(s) rented.

 

3.2 Deposit may be collected as a credit card pre-authorization, or paid by cash, card, or bank transfer.

 

3.3 Deposits are refunded in full once items are returned on time and in undamaged condition (typically 3–7 business days after inspection).

 

3.4 Viking Experience Iceland reserves the right to deduct from the deposit for:

    •    Late returns (10–50% fee depending on delay)

    •    Minor damage (stains, scratches, scuffs – cleaning/repair fees apply)

    •    Major damage (tears, burns, structural damage – full repair/replacement cost)

    •    Missing items or accessories (full replacement cost)

    •    Total loss or theft (100% of replacement value)

 

3.5 The renter is fully responsible for any damage, loss, or destruction of rented items, including props and weapons. Costs exceeding the deposit will be invoiced in full.

 

 

4. Use of Rental Items (Props & Weapons)

 

4.1 All Viking props, weapons, and costumes are intended for photoshoots, events, or display purposes only.

 

4.2 Weapons and props may not be used for combat, fighting, or any activity that could cause injury or damage.

 

4.3 Customers must handle all items carefully and responsibly.

 

4.4 Any damage, loss, or destruction of rental items, including weapons or props, is the renter’s full responsibility.

 

 

5. Event Participation

 

5.1 Participants must be physically able to take part in the event.

 

5.2 All participants must follow safety instructions provided by Viking Experience Iceland staff.

 

5.3 Viking Experience Iceland reserves the right to refuse participation to anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or whose behavior endangers others.

 

5.4 Some events may have age or physical requirements.

 

 

6. Rental Liability

 

6.1 Customers are fully responsible for loss, theft, or damage during the rental period.

 

6.2 Viking Experience Iceland is not responsible for injuries or accidents while using rental items.

 

 

7. Return Policy

 

7.1 All rental items must be returned in the same condition as received.

 

7.2 Late returns may incur additional fees (see Section 3.4).

 

 

8. Force Majeure & Weather

 

8.1 Severe weather, natural disasters, or other force majeure events may affect events or rental deliveries.

 

8.2 In such cases, customers will be offered the option to reschedule or receive a full refund.
